Today’s games were full of goals but that was due largely to the weather. It was pouring and the field was a mess!

But regardless, the games continued. In game one, Genesis FC vs Young Starz, The first half was slow and ended 1 – 1. In the second half, yours truly finally made it and due to an injury to one of our strikers, I came in. And the conditions were worse than they looked from the side line. We managed to score two more goals to bring the final score to 3 – 1 in favour of Genesis FC.

After much delay, the second game, Play 4 vs Hezbollars, started. Both teams were missing players and Play 4 got off to an early start scoring in the opening minutes of the game. Play 4 scored four more times before Hezbollars pulled one back before the half to make the halftime score 5 – 1. The second half was just a formality as Hezbollars played like a defeated team. Nothing was going their way in the second half however they did manage to score another goal. On the flip side, Play 4 dominated the second half and managed to score three more goals making final score Play 4 8 – 2 Hezbollars.

But with the field in the condition it is in and the approaching weather system, I wonder if the July 11 games will be played. I guess time will tell but I am looking forward to the next game as Genesis FC is on a roll at the moment. We’ve only lost one game and our confidence is high.
