WordPress Image Sliders
Sometimes a website needs a boost and an easy way to give it the boost that it needs is with an image slider/rotator.
There are lots of image sliders/rotators out there but below are three of the best that I have come across.
Nivo Slider
The Nivo Slider is simply awesome! Built in are 16 different transitions, its is small and light weight and easy to use. It costs only 20 bucks for use with WordPress. If you just want the jQuery files then it is absolutely free. So check it out, I’m sure that you will not be disappointed.
TheThe Image Slider
Yes, that’s the name. It’s not a typo. TheThe Image Slider is great! I used it on a previous version of this website and I absolutely loved it! It is simple to setup and install on your site. It’s highly compatible with many browsers, has multiple animation options and is light weight. So give it a try and you will love it.
Roundabout
Roundabout is a carousel type image rotator which looks great! Like the other two, it is free, highly configurable and has easy to use shortcodes. However, I had a bit of a hard time configuring it exactly how I wanted. There is a new version out which, I hope, should be more user friendly and I will give it a try as soon as I can. Once configured the way you want it, it looks great and adds a new dimension to your site. Check it out! Now!
